Our Fall Sunday Morning Christian Education Programs resume Sunday, Sept 9 between services each week at 10:30 AM. Below is brief information about topics for each age group and room assignments.
Adults: "Called to Serve: Theology and Ministry at St. Julian's", a month-long reintroduction and invitation to participate in the ministries of our church, led by our Theologian in Residence, Dr. Tony Baker, each week in the worship space.
3 year-olds-Kinder: "Godly Play", a child focused experience that includes storytelling, wondering, and self-guided exploration with specially created manipulatives and other activities. Meets each week in the Gold Room.
1st-3rd Grades: "The Jesus Story Book Bible", a child centered exploration of bibles stories of the Old and New Testaments using storytelling, games, songs and activities. Meets each week in the Red Room.
4th-6th Grades: "The Wild Truths Bible Study", an older child oriented bible study with activities focused on opening the bible's meaning and relevance for the daily lives of our children. Meets each week in the Green Room.
7th-12th Grades: "Companions for the Journey", a bible study with discussion and activities generated from topics discerned directly by our teens from real life challenges and opportunities. Led by our Vicar, Miles. Meets each week in the Blue Room.
Children's Chapel (3-years-old-3rd grade): Child-centered worship, with prayers, songs and activities during the first part of each of our two mornings services (9 and 11:30 AM). Children return for Holy Communion with their families.
Childcare for children up to three is available in our nursery each Sunday morning during worship and Christian Education.
