St. Julian's 2025 Holy Week and Easter Schedule:
St. Julian's 2025 Holy Week and Easter Schedule:
Palm Sunday/Passion Sunday, April 13 at 9 and 11:15 AM: Services will begin outside by the playground with the Liturgy of the Palms. They will also include special music, a dramatic reading of the Passion, sermon, and Holy Communion. Due to the length of the service there will be no Christian Ed on Palm Sunday. We hope you will remain after church for coffee and fellowship.
Holy Monday-Holy Wednesday, April 14-16 at 12 PM: On each of these three days we will offer a service of Holy Communion at noon in the church with reflections on Jesus' last week in Jerusalem.
Maundy Thursday, April 17 at 6:30 PM: This service reflects on Jesus' final meal (the Last Supper) with his followers before the events of Good Friday and includes foot-washing, sermon, Holy Communion and the Stripping of the Altar. Childcare and Children's Chapel will be available.
Good Friday Service, April 18 at Noon: This service includes the Good Friday Liturgy, a dramatic reading of the Passion, sermon, solemn collects and the Veneration of the Cross. The service begins at noon, as that is traditional time at which Jesus was hung on the cross. Childcare and Children's Chapel will be available.
Good Friday Stations of the Cross, April 18 at 2 PM: Following our Good Friday Service, we will provide a pilgrimage around our property to remember Jesus' journey from his place of judgement to the cross. All ages are invited to participate. Please be prepared to be on your feet and moving for about an hour.
Easter Eggstravaganza and Celebration, Saturday, April 19, 10 AM-12 PM: Join us on our church grounds as we welcome Easter with our neighbors. Events will include egg hunts, a crepe inspired Food Truck, a bouncy house, cake walk, egg-peeling contest, and a coffee bar. Friends and family are warmly invited to join the celebration!
The Feast of our Lord's Glorious Resurrection, Easter Sunday, April 20 at 7, 9 and 11:15 AM: Please note we are adding an early service to accommodate a larger congregation. Each service will include festive music, sermon, Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. Childcare and Children's Chapel will be available. We will also be flowering our Good Friday cross as people enter the church. Please bring fresh cut flowers to participate. There will be no Christian Ed on Easter Sunday.

Please share this information far and wide with friends and family. Holy Week is a wonderful time to share St. Julian's with someone you love or care for. We look forward to making the journey together, as a family of faith, to the cross and the on to the empty tomb of Easter.
