Supporting our Friends in Navajoland through the Winter Months with a Firewood Drive:

Our Outreach Committee is sponsoring a Firewood Drive to help keep our friends in Navajoland warm and fed through the winter and continued pandemic. We frame this ask in terms of a cord of wood. A cord of wood can sustain a family through the winter and the Episcopal Church in Navajoland (ECN) is serving around 250 families through their food pantry work. Cord wood costs are $390 per cord (4’ X 16’), $195 per ½ cord, $100 per ¼ cord, and $50 per 1/8 cord. We think it would be great if our combined efforts could yield 5 to 10 cords of wood. To donate directly to ECN, you can do so through PayPal by clicking here, noting "COVID-Relief-Firewood Fund" in the notes. Or, checks, with that same note in the memo, can be sent directly to: The Episcopal Church in Navajoland, PO Box 720, Farmington, NM, 87449. For questions, email Jack.
