A Statement on Police Involved Killings, Protests, and Police Response

Below is a statement I co-wrote with other clergy leaders in the Williamson County cluster of Central Texas Interfaith (CTI). As a member of CTI, this statement both expresses my own beliefs and commitments. As it states, I am committed to standing with the African American community and all those marginalized living among us. More so, I am committed to continuing my work of public advocacy to actually work to see God's kingdom come alive more and more in our midst. To this end, this statement will be used as testimony at the Williamson County Commissioners Court and distributed to the Mayors and City Councils throughout the county. I continue to pray each day for peace, healing and reconciliation.
