I have loved being a member of St. Julian's since its very early days, and I feel deeply blessed to be stepping into the role of Associate Vicar (half-time). I am a graduate of Duke Divinity School (M.Div. '97), and I completed my Episcopal formation work in the Diocese of Bethlehem, PA in 2005. Before moving to Austin in 2009, I served in Pennsylvania as the sole pastor of a Congregational church (UCC), as the Assistant Pastor at Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church, and as the Missioner for Youth on the bishop's staff. This year, in addition to participating fully in the worship and preaching life at St. Julian's, I'll be supporting in the areas of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Youth Confirmation, and Outreach. The other half of my work week takes me to NYOS, a wonderfully diverse public charter school in Austin, where I serve on the Leadership Team as an Instructional Coach. In my free time I love to write, travel, visit with friends, and spend time with my three gorgeous young adult children.
