Signposts

Continue to place a high priority on personal relationships and intimately knowing Christ in and through one another by committing to tell our stories, break bread together and share in activities that grow our bonds of affection so that all may flourish.

As a community, know and live our history, core values and rule of life that they might deeply inform our patterns of holy living as individuals and as a body.

Live daily a theology of acceptance, in word and deed that is rooted in a profound understanding of God's love for all humanity as expressed in the radical hospitality of Jesus.

Provide a safe place for members of the church and the larger community to find healing, rest, nourishment and renewal. Thus refreshed and equipped, they will be able to go out into the world to better serve God and neighbor. 

Be deeply engaged with, and valued by, the community around us through: open doors, service to those in need, and offering our space for community use as a symbol of God's generosity.

Help illuminate God's will for our lives through counsel, wisdom, prayer and spiritual friendship.

Support shared leadership among clergy, staff and laity to encourage all to discern and practice their spiritual gifts for ministry in an environment of grace, trust and accountability.
