Student Minister: Jennifer Garen
Christian Education (Sunday mornings between services at 10:10 AM):
During the school year, our 7th-12th graders meet each week for a topical bible study on subjects chosen by those who participate. This provides the students the opportunity to reflect biblically on the topics and experiences of greatest interest to them and that impact the lives they live in school, at home, and with friends. Past topics have included: Forgiveness, Social Media, Politics, Science vs. Faith, Dating, Friendships, among many, many others. The class is led by our Vicar, the Rev. Miles Brandon and meets in the Blue Room most Sundays at 10:10 AM.
Journey to Adulthood, St. Julian's Student Ministry, Sunday evenings at 5 PM (during the school year, with special gatherings in the summer):
Our Student Ministry (6th-12th grades) called, Journey to Adulthood, meets on most Sunday evenings during the school year from 5-7 PM for dinner and to work though the Journey to Adulthood (J2A) curriculum with adult mentors. The program also prepares students for Confirmation and includes an out of state, week-long pilgrimage about every two years. In addition to the spiritual formation that happens on Sunday evenings, there are regular events for fun and fellowship scheduled throughout the year.
For up to date information on current events/gatherings, to get on our Student Ministry weekly e-newsletter, or to simply learn more about our ministry with students in the 6th-12th grades, parents and students are welcome to email our Student Minister, Jennifer Garen.
